The Project Preparation Facility (PPF) was established in 2021 as a distinct operational unit within Growthfund.
Its mission is to prepare, tender, and oversee the implementation of strategic projects assigned to it by the Government Committee of Strategic Contracts.
The Project Preparation Facility (PPF) has undertaken the preparation and tendering of projects with a total budget exceeding 10 billion euros.
These are sustainable investments with significant social, environmental, and economic impact. They contribute to job creation, mitigate the effects of the climate crisis, and promote regional development while enhancing the competitiveness of the Greek economy.
PURPOSE
Acts upon the request and on behalf of the project Beneficiary to prepare, carry out the tender process and co-supervise strategic projects.

Operates in collaboration with ministries, public entities, & international stakeholders to optimize project execution.

The adoption of Law 5108/2024 in May 2024 opened the way for Growthfund’s Project Preparation Facility (PPF) to extend its mission internationally.
Leveraging its expertise, experienced team, and proven track record, the PPF can now participate in initiatives and international collaborations for the design, management, and implementation of projects and reforms abroad.

Growthfund’s Project Preparation Facility (PPF) leverages innovation to enhance transparency, accountability, and good corporate governance. Through the digital PPF App, all relevant stakeholders – including the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministries, Public Authorities, Regions, and Municipalities – can monitor the progress of projects implemented by the Unit in real time.
This enables the early detection of issues or delays and the implementation of targeted actions in cooperation with the Contracting Authorities, ensuring that projects move forward consistently and effectively.
