{"id":38767,"date":"2026-03-27T12:25:14","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T10:25:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ppf.growthfund.gr\/?post_type=project&#038;p=38767"},"modified":"2026-03-27T15:37:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T13:37:05","slug":"upgrade-of-regional-ports-infrastructure","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/ppf.growthfund.gr\/en\/project\/upgrade-of-regional-ports-infrastructure\/","title":{"rendered":"Upgrade of Regional Ports Infrastructure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Growthfund\u2019s Project Preparation Facility (PPF) has been designated by the Government Committee as the authority responsible for the preparation, conduct of the tender procedures, and monitoring of the project \u201cDevelopment of Island Port Infrastructure\u201d, with a total budget of \u20ac135 million, on behalf of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy.<\/p>\n<p>The projects cover islands across several regions, with particular emphasis on remote and small island areas, contributing to strengthening territorial cohesion, promoting maritime tourism, and supporting local economic development.<\/p>\n<p>More specifically, a total of twenty-one (21) projects and interventions are being planned:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Region of Crete (Rethymno, Mavri Limniona Sfakion, Agia Roumeli Sfakion, Paleochora, Agios Nikolaos),<\/li>\n<li>Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (Samothrace),<\/li>\n<li>Region of Attica (Antikythera),<\/li>\n<li>Region of North Aegean (Agios Kirykos \u2013 Ikaria, Evdilos \u2013 Ikaria, Fournoi, Agios Efstratios),<\/li>\n<li>Region of South Aegean (Lipsi, Katapola \u2013 Amorgos, Aegiali \u2013 Amorgos, Folegandros, Megisti \u2013 Kastellorizo),<\/li>\n<li>Region of Ionian Islands (Frikes \u2013 Ithaca, Pessada \u2013 Kefalonia, Mathraki, Othonoi, Agios Stefanos Avlioton).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Growthfund\u2019s Project Preparation Facility (PPF) has been designated by the Government Committee as the authority responsible for the preparation, conduct of the tender procedures, and monitoring of the project \u201cDevelopment of Island Port Infrastructure\u201d, with a total budget of \u20ac135 million, on behalf of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy.
